Recommended! Holly, my server, was amazing! I had the all meat omelet with crisp hash browns, rye toast, and a piece of French toast with coffee. Everything was cooked to my specifications, and very tasty. The staff were perfectly attentive and provided an adequate amount of sassyness back at me. I will be back if in the area again.

First time. Eggs & corned beef hash, very good. The server (forgot to get her name) really took good care of me. Price was average. Overall great experience. Next time, I might have to try something in the pie case.

The salad was fresh, filling and tasted amazing. My friend had the angus burger which was very tasty and a huge value for the cost. The children’s menu had lots of options which was much appreciated. All in all a nice quiet cozy lunch experience! We will be back!

Breakfast food is really good! Ginny, waitress, is very good at her job!! She is the sweetest and takes very good care of her customers! Whether your a local or an out-of-towner, you will make a friend in Ginny! I will continue to go there as long as Ginny is working there!

What a wonderful and busy dinner. They serve comfort goods like Biscuits and Gravy, with or with out sides. Wonderful hashbrowns, eggs, pancakes. We only ate breakfast here but I believe the serve lunch. It's an old building, definitely not fancy but it's what you expect is a small town. The service was great, friendly They could tell we were not local, and made us feel welcomes.

My husband and I ate at the Roaster Cafe about two months ago. We are back visiting one of our kids and liked this place before, so we tried it again. We were not disappointed. We really like the restaurant. We had blueberry pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns, ham, eggs. It was very good. Jinny was very nice and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and has a great historic atmosphere. We will eat here again before we leave Ottawa, KS. Thank you for a great visit, great food and a touch of history.

Great food, elevated from the standard diner cafe menu with fresh fruits and nuts and great seasoning. The breakfast quesadilla with fruit and salsa was excellent. No wait!

Very friendly waitress, old hometown feel, food arrived quickly and was great! It's good to find these local places that cater to their customers, you feel like family.
